Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science
• 8+ years of software development in safety critical embedded avionics
• 5+ years of experience with C/C++ for software development
• Familiarity with DO-178B/C Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience in developing Flight Management Systems (FMS) User Interfaces
• Knowledge of software change request processes
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Accountable with ownership of tasks
• Self-motivated with initiative

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for the FMS User Interface
• Implement software updates to enhance existing UI functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration compatibility
• Adhere to the DO-178B/C SDLC for software development
• Manage software change requests effectively
• Conduct testing and validation of software components
• Document design processes and software specifications
