Full Job Description
Jireh Semiconductor in Hillsboro, OR is currently seeking an experienced Fab Automation Software Engineer. This is a fully onsite position who will be responsible for developing and maintaining fab automation software systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  • Develop, maintain, and support manufacturing software systems for semiconductor wafer fabrication.
  • Design and develop manufacturing applications using Java, SQL, and Python with Java as a primary development platform.
  • Develop and maintain interfaces between MES, factory automation systems, equipment, and manufacturing applications.
  • Support fab automation and equipment integration, including SECS/GEM.
  • Work with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and IT teams to develop solutions and resolve production issues.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing software and integration issues and perform root cause analysis in a 24x7 production environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.

5+ years of software development or manufacturing systems experience, preferably in a semiconductor wafer fab environment.

Strong hands-on Java development experience and solid SQL skills.

Good understanding of wafer fab MES, factory automation, and manufacturing system architecture.

Experience with SECS/GEM and equipment integration is preferred.

Knowledge of manufacturing systems such as RMS, SPC, or FDC is preferred.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently in a cross-functional engineering environment.
