Description
Summary/Objective: As a Software Engineer in Information Systems, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software applications and ERP Configurations. Qualified candidates must have experience in software development projects. This candidate will need to understand object-oriented programming and data structures. This position works in a cross-functional team to develop software solutions for our business users using Agile methodology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Create developments in multiple languages to help build larger applications
- QA testing and debugging of the produced code
- Development of applications and REST API endpoints
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide explanations to software issues
- Effectively communicate with functional analysts to help provide technical solutions
- Read, write and understand functional and technical specification documents
- Effectively follow logic, read code samples, and provide common language pseudocode
- Provide regular updates with respect to progress on tasks and projects.

Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science required
Experience: - Proficiency in one programming language
- Proficiency with object-oriented programming
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS
- Experience in REST API development and usage
- Experience with Agile software development methodology
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL preferred
- Experience with Relational Databases
- ERP Experience a plus
Competencies: - Ability to collaborate with multifunctional team
- Ability to analyze problems and design, implement and test appropriate solutions to problems
- Ability to document and communicate technical information for consumption by ES&S managers and associates
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and photocopiers.

Travel: Approximately 5% travel is expected.

Salary Description
$75,000 - $95,000
