Full Job Description
ASRC Federal Technology Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer with hands-on experience and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) to support in SharePoint development and enhance enterprise business applications. This role focuses on building secure, scalable solutions that streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and meet evolving customer requirements across a mission-critical environment.

To be considered for this role, the ability to be on-site with the customer and currently hold an Active Secret clearance is required. The customer's office is located at 600 19th Street NW, Washington, DC, accessible by metro.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and enhance business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate flows.
  • Maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and custom components.
  • Work with Dataverse, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, and other data sources to support application logic and data modeling.
  • Integrate Power Platform and .NET solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, and external APIs.
  • Integrate SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with SQL databases, external APIs, or other enterprise data sources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Ensure all solutions follow security best practices and comply with organizational and federal standards.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize Power Platform applications, .NET web applications, and SharePoint solutions across development and production environments.
  • Maintain documentation for application design, configuration, and operational procedures.
  • Provide user support, training, and technical guidance to ensure successful adoption of deployed solutions.
  • Participate in planning, testing, and deploying enhancements and new features.


Required Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Hands-on experience developing and customizing SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint On-Premises environments.
  • Familiarity with C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC or Web API.
  • Experience building automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • Understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, content types, and site administration.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services at a foundational level (equivalent to AWS Cloud Practitioner knowledge), or higher.
  • Ability to troubleshoot application issues and provide clear, actionable resolutions.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working directly with business users and stakeholders.
  • Understanding secure application development practices and compliance requirements.


Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in software engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Active Secret clearance.
