Responsibilities
  • Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis
  • Update software or enhance existing software capabilities
  • Design, code, test, debug and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality and operational needs
  • Build high quality code following unit testing and test driven development
  • Drive and participate in code and document reviews, mentoring team in best practices
  • Collaborate with peer organizations, DevOps, Support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance
  • Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance is achieved
  • Work with team to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently
  • Apply deep technical expertise to resolve challenging programming and design problems
  • Focus on scalability, security and availability of all applications and processes
  • Develop and deploy applications in pipelines. Leading team, involving business requirement, and mentoring team members
  • Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States
  • Telecommuting is permitted


Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation

Special Requirements: Position requires at least one (1) year of experience in each of the following skills:

  • Utilize knowledge of Programming languages React, NODE.Js, AWS, JavaScript, and Web Services to develop reactive web applications that facilitate e-commerce domain.


  • Utilize knowledge of Automation Frameworks and Fullstack end-to-end business flow to reduce testing timelines and ensure quality product delivery.


  • Utilize knowledge of coding to build front-end and back-end applications using React Js, Redux for state management and Node Js for the server-less development.


  • Utilize the knowledge of data structures and algorithms to perform code reviews and provide suggestions about optimal code.


  • Utilize knowledge of Jenkins to deploy code to various environments such as staging and production.


  • Utilize knowledge of testing frameworks such as cypress, jest and mocha to write unit and functional tests to automate testing efforts and delivery of a quality product.


  • Utilize knowledge of SDLC to avoid development bottlenecks and reduce development timelines.


  • Utilize knowledge of Jest, Cypress, selenium frameworks to test the UI components of the applications and ensure application compatibility across devices.


  • Utilize business process knowledge to prepare documentation, process flow diagram, data flow diagram, entity relationship diagrams to help peers understand business systems.


  • Utilize knowledge of API design skills to create interconnected tools, applications and micro-servers across multiple platforms for increased interaction and connectivity.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $117,000 and $209,330. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
