Job DescriptionThis position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
Essential Responsibilities:- Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure, including AKS, Azure SQL, and Azure platform services.
- Develop and maintain high-performance.NET Core/.NET 5+ applications and RESTful APIs.
- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions with a focus on scalability, resiliency, and maintainability.
- Lead CI/CD automation and containerization efforts using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitLab.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and business teams to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality through automated testing, peer reviews, performance optimization, security best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience- Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 5+, ASP.NET Core, and modern software engineering practices.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure, including AKS, Azure SQL, App Services, Storage, and cloud-native architecture.
- Hands-on experience designing and building REST APIs, including API security, versioning, and integration patterns.
- Deep understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, domain-driven design, and modern architectural practices.
- Experience developing modern Single Page Applications using React or Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong database expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, including performance tuning, optimization, and data modeling.
- Proven experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Rancher, JFrog Artifactory, and DevOps automation.
- Experience implementing secure authentication and authorization using OIDC, ForgeRock (or similar Identity Provider), and automated testing frameworks including xUnit, SpecFlow, Postman, Jasmine, and WebdriverIO.
Location expectationsThis role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,095.00 - $130,700.00
