We are seeking an established Software Development Engineer who consistently applies software engineering principles to business contexts, leads small, well-defined projects and continues as a supporting player on complex projects, and actively identifies inefficiencies in existing systems.
In this role, you will:- Design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions across multiple domains, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features, from low-level design (LLD) and API development to data modeling and deployment.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and code quality standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in complex distributed systems.
- Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve outcomes and support business objectives.
- Demonstrate adaptability by working effectively across front-end, back-end, and cloud-based environments.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience designing and developing services or components, including API design and data modeling.
- Proficiency with at least one modern programming language and familiarity with development tools and workflows.
- Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience connecting project work to team and business goals and providing clear, timely status updates.
- Experience building and supporting software in a distributed, cloud-based environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive improvements in system reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Exposure to integrating AI/ML capabilities into existing products or workflows.
- Strong data-driven problem-solving skills and a commitment to operational excellence.
- Experience designing APIs and data models that enable feature growth and cross-domain functionality.
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $146,000.00 to $204,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
