The Role

BeyondTrust is seeking a Software Development Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of core platform services that support multiple product lines. As part of the Platform Core Services team, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and reliable services, including authentication & authorization (AuthN/AuthZ), onboarding, RBAC, reporting, auditing, notifications, and platform APIs. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer looking to grow their expertise in platform engineering, infrastructure automation, and operational excellence while working in a high-impact, cross-functional environment.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and Maintain Core Services - Implement and enhance high-quality, scalable microservices that support platform-wide capabilities, ensuring modularity and extensibility.
  • Collaborate on System Design & Implementation - Work with senior engineers and product managers to translate requirements into well-structured, maintainable, and testable software solutions.
  • Enhance System Reliability & Observability - Contribute to logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using Datadog to ensure visibility and proactive issue resolution.
  • Infrastructure as Code & Cloud Automation - Assist in automating cloud infrastructure management using Terraform, Terragrunt, and CI/CD pipelines.
