What You'll Do- Design and implement AI-powered observability that uses telemetry, metrics, logs, and distributed traces to accelerate issue detection, root cause analysis, and operational decision making.
- Evaluate and integrate modern AI and observability technologies to continuously improve platform visibility, reliability, and developer experience.
- Support the development and testing of Observability libraries and tools for the platform of apps and services.
- Build tools and dashboards to help improve the transparency, debuggability and reliability of the infrastructure.
- Standardize patterns, tools, and dashboard setups.
- Communicate and document observability standards and guidance.
- Assist in integrating Observability into the automation infrastructure at different stages of continuous delivery.
- Contribute to the overall Adobe monitoring platform.
Ingredients for Success- Experience integrating AI capabilities with observability platforms, telemetry pipelines, or incident management workflows is a strong plus.
- Experience working with LLMs and AI services to build developer productivity, automation, or operational tooling.
- Familiarity with AI-powered software engineering workflows, including intelligent automation, agentic systems, or AI-assisted diagnostics.
- 5+ years of experience working on observability, telemetry, or similar.
- Experience building for web and mobile (iOS/Android) platforms.
- Experience in JavaScript (client/server), TypeScript, Python, Go, and associated mobile development frameworks.
- Experience with modern, continuous development techniques and build pipelines (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Ethos).
- Relevant knowledge of current tools and services like: Splunk, NewRelic, DataDog, OpenTelemetry, Loki, AppDynamics, Prometheus, AWS, and Grafana.
- Passion and desire for improving our logging infrastructure.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience architecting or contributing to AI assistants, copilots, or agentic platforms used in production environments.
- Hands-on experience designing agent-based systems, including multi-step reasoning workflows, tool invocation, memory persistence, and state management.
- Contributions to open-source Observability, AI frameworks, technical publications, or internal AI platform initiatives.
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $139,000 -- $257,550 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $177,900 - $257,550In Washington, the pay range for this position is $161,700 - $234,150
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
