Full Job Description
What you'll do day-to-day
Maintain, develop, and support low-latency trading systems, including improving reliability and performance, addressing operational issues, and conferring with technical support teams.
Support and automate statistical models for low-latency trading systems.
Develop on-premise and cloud computing infrastructure to support large-scale research workflows.
Develop tools and infrastructure for Futures historical simulations, including testing and analysis.
Develop infrastructure to generate predictors within Futures forecasting models.
Analyze historical market data to model exchange trading behavior and data quality, supporting quantitative researchers using these models in their research.
Work with existing technical infrastructure, relevant quantitative models, and contemporary academic research.
Communicate with management about project and team priorities, helping propose new projects and set priorities.
Interview and recruit candidates.
What we're looking for
A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field of study.
One year of experience in the following: programming in Python; programming in Java; Object-Oriented Programming; functional programming; software design patterns; software debugging in the UNIX environment; operating systems; low latency trading systems; and, systematic or quantitative trading.
The annual base salary for this position is $200,000 - $275,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401k contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
