As a Software Developer on the SAS EVAAS (Education Visualization and Analytics System) team, you’ll create front-end experiences that help educators turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that can make a real difference for students.
As a Software Developer, you will:
Utilize your React, JavaScript, and TypeScript skills to build highly reliable, tested, and user-friendly front-end experiences
- Design and deliver scalable, maintainable front-end components and workflows that support the EVAAS web application
- Use your front-end development knowledge and UX mindset to help shape the future design of our web application
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field with 2-5 years of professional full-time experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with:
- Developing front-end applications using React and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Developing and delivering responsive, accessible Web-based applications
- Experience using modern front-end build tools and package management, including NPM
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

- Location: Cary HQ, hybrid (minimum of 3 days in the office per week)
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with the following:
- UX design principles and collaborating on user-centered interface design
- Design and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Various static or interactive code scanning tools
- Documenting decisions, processes, and code
- Integrating front-end applications with back-end services
- Git and GitHub
