Job Summary
The Software Dev Engineer IV will design and develop web-based dashboards, metrics visualizations, and user interfaces that enable service operators to monitor and manage robotics systems. This is a hands-on senior-level engineering role requiring strong system design and architecture capabilities, with an emphasis on production development. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance operational tools that provide real-time insights and actionable data.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop web-based dashboards and metrics visualizations
Create user interfaces for monitoring and managing robotics systems
Architect and implement scalable solutions while remaining hands-on with production development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance operational tools
Design and implement technical solutions that support real-time insights and actionable operational data
Ensure web applications meet performance, scalability, reliability, and usability requirements
Contribute to system design and technical architecture decisions
Develop production-ready code and participate in the full software development lifecycle
Required Qualifications
5+ years of front-end web development experience with strong expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript
Experience designing and implementing operational dashboards and metrics visualizations for technical users
Experience with system design and architecture for scalable web applications
Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog
Proficiency with data visualization libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, or Recharts
Experience working with time-series data
Proven experience delivering scalable, high-performance web user interfaces in production environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with query languages such as PromQL, LogQL, or CloudWatch Insights Query Language
Knowledge of real-time data streaming technologies such as WebSockets or Server-Sent Events
Experience working with alerting systems
Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools such as New Relic, Dynatrace, or Datadog
Experience with log aggregation platforms such as Elasticsearch or Splunk
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Background developing interfaces for industrial, robotics, or infrastructure applications
Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
