We9re searching for our next Social Media Specialist to work with our team supporting a lifesaving public health client.
This is a fully remote role requiring the ability to travel onsite to the client9s office in Atlanta, GA up to one trip per quarter.
The Team
We are a team of digital media communications strategists and specialists working together to provide our clients with social media management, content writing, social listening, metrics reporting, digital engagement strategies, and training.
As a Social Media Specialist, you will:
- Support the Social Media Director in the day-to-day production management and coordination of client deliverables
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and route feedback to appropriate team members for updates
- Assist in monitoring social media channels and compiling social listening data on conversations, trends, and sentiment
- Support social media event coverage, such as X chats, Facebook Live events, Facebook events setups, and other real-time engagement opportunities
- Moderate Facebook Group by posting relevant content and prompts to drive engagement
- Assist with the production timelines and oversee development of graphics and templates for use in social media posts, working with subcontractors on execution
- Track and compile performance metrics and support the preparation of monthly reporting and recommendations
- Provide coverage for posting and monitoring, as needed
- Assist in the development of content calendars for national observances and key events
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and adapt quickly to changing priorities and tasks on a day-to-day basis
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in social media platform management and content development
- 1-3 years of experience writing and editing social media content across all social media platforms
- 1-3 years of experience with social media platform management, content development, analytics and listening tools
- Ability to obtain a clearance should it be required by the contract.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor9s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience at an advertising or consulting agency, working in highly regulated industries or with government agencies to build social media communications plans and developing public health plans and strategies.
Professional skills:
- Demonstrated experience integrating creative, data/analytics, and/or other client services teams to develop fully integrated, insight-driven campaigns
- Experience developing social media and communications plans and presenting internally and externally
- Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
- Strong writing skills
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Comfortable working with remote teams
- Ability to work independently, seek help as needed and contribute to team and company culture

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$61,232.00 - $104,094.00
