We9re searching for our next social media strategist and leader to work with our teams across federal, state, and commercial sector client accounts.
Job Location(s): This is a fully remote role.
The Team
We are a team of digital media strategists and specialists working together to provide our clients with social media management, content writing, social listening, metrics reporting, digital engagement strategies, and training.
As a Social Media Manager you will:
- Manage and mentor a team of social media specialists, overseeing day to day workload, quality of deliverables, and professional development
- Serve as the client9s senior social media point of contact, guiding overall strategy while ensuring day-to-day execution meets client expectations, including content development
- Partner with account leadership and cross functional account teams (creative, analytics, client services) to deliver fully integrated, insight driven campaigns
- Develop strategies and guidance to enhance the client9s presence and engagement with its audience on social media channels
- Guide performance monitoring and social listening efforts, with the expertise to analyze data directly and translate results into actionable recommendations for client and leadership review Lead analytics for the client9s program, with the ability to dive into reporting directly, ensure accuracy, and identify opportunities for improvement Direct and execute the development of social media dashboards and monthly performance summaries, with the ability to build them directly and provide recommendations for client and leadership review
- Support staffing plans and resource allocation for the account9;s social media team
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and adapt quickly to changing priorities and tasks on a day-to-day basis
- Make significant contributions to ICF9s Social Media Community of Practice
- Have the ability and acumen to produce tailored social media strategies and content for federal government and commercial clients
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in social media platform management, strategy and content development
- 2+ years of experience managing or leading staff
- Bachelor9s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Ability to obtain a clearance if required by contract.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience at an advertising or consulting agency
- Experience working in highly regulated industries or with government agencies to build social media communications plans
- Experience developing and executive public health, commercial healthcare, and/or energy sector communications plans and strategies
Professional skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, delegating work and providing constructive feedback
- Demonstrated experience integrating creative, data/analytics, and/or other client services teams to develop fully integrated, insight driven campaigns
- Experience developing high-impact social media and communications plans and presenting to leadership teams
- Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities across a team
- Strong writing skills
- Strong proficiency in in best practices across all major social media platforms and in the use of project management tools
- Comfortable collaborating across internal and client teams
- Ability to work independently, seek help as needed and contribute to team and company culture

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$89,649.00 - $152,404.00
