Full Job Description
As a Superintendent at SitelogIQ, you'll be the on-site leader responsible for managing day-to-day operations across one or more active construction sites in a market focusing on K-12 education institutions. You'll coordinate with multiple contractors, ensure safety and quality standards are upheld, and keep projects on track and within scope. This role is ideal for a proactive, field-focused professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys solving problems collaboratively.
The ideal candidate for this role is a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, maintaining calm under pressure, solving problems quickly, and bringing people together. You would serve as a trusted advisor and liaison for clients, providing insight into every step of the process.
Site Supervisor Responsibilities
• Prepare installation schedules from demo to completion
• Ensure projects are within project plan and specification scope
• Support team members in the bid process through constructability reviews and site logistics plans
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, daily logs and schedules
• Maintain up to date records of the projects during construction phase and modifications throughout the project
• Assist the Project Management and Engineering teams with problem solving during the construction and close-out phase of the project
• Participate in sales and proposal development as requested
• Understanding of the SitelogIQ Safety Manual and program and implement as required on the assigned projects
• Manage daily onsite operations
• Lead and monitor subcontractor schedules, coordination and performance
• Oversee inspections, punch lists and other activities required by the project
• Foster strong relationships with owner/client, subcontractors and other project team members
• Interpret drawings, specifications and scope of work for subcontractors and project team
Site Supervisor Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of construction-related experience working for a general contractor or specialty contractor coordinating and supervising job site participants on projects ranging from $2M- $50M
• Knowledge of and past success with Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
• Proficient in technology such as Microsoft Office applications and Procore
• A valid driver's license is required for travel related to job duties. Access to a reliable vehicle may be necessary
• PA Department of Education Federal and State Background Clearances required
