Samsung Biologics is looking for a Site Security & Facilities Manager. Who will be responsible for leading site security operations and managing facility infrastructure to ensure a safe, secure, and compliant work environment. This role oversees physical security programs, including access control, CCTV, visitor management, and security risk mitigation, while coordinating facility repair and infrastructure improvement activities. The position partners with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and EHS to support site objectives, maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure facility readiness.
Key Responsibilities:Security Management- Lead site security operations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage access control systems, CCTV systems, intrusion detection systems, and visitor management programs.
- Conduct security risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
- Support security incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain security metrics, reports, and site security programs.
Facilities Management- Manage facility infrastructure including roofs, walls, doors, windows, parking lots, and building exterior systems.
- Identify, prioritize, and coordinate facility repair activities.
- Conduct facility inspections and assess building conditions.
- Support facility renovation, expansion, and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Ensure facility infrastructure remains safe, functional, and compliant.
Project & Financial Management- Develop scopes of work for facility repairs and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure tracking.
- Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project schedules and support timely completion of assigned work.
Compliance & Leadership- Support inspections, audits, and regulatory reviews.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Develop performance metrics and reports for leadership.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to security and facility operations.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and EHS to support site objectives.
Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in security management, facilities management, or related operational leadership roles.
- Experience with access control systems, CCTV systems, visitor management, and physical security programs.
- Experience coordinating facility repairs, renovations, and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Knowledge of facility infrastructure, building systems, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience managing budgets, project schedules, and operational performance metrics.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, or other regulated environments.
- Knowledge of GMP, EHS, and security compliance requirements.
- Project management experience.
The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $93,225 to $124,300 plus annual bonus, when eligible. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc.
