Responsibilitie
Responsibilities Design and develop highly available infrastructure platforms supporting large-scale distributed production systems. Build software-driver automation systems for infrastructure provisioning, deployment orchestration, configuration management, and operational workflows. Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using observability tools, and proactively identify performance bottlenecks, capacity risks, and reliability issues. Develop reliability engineering frameworks to improve system stability, fault tolerance, and performance under high-load and failure scenarios. Design and implement disaster recovery architectures, failover strategies, and business continuity solutions across multi-region environments. Oversee incident response processes, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term remediation strategies. Participate in technical operations and rotations in response to performance and reliability issues. Mentor junior Site Reliability Engineers.
Qualification
Qualifications Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Working across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance of back-end and cloud native projects; Designing scalable and high available software systems for cloud environments; Processing and analyzing large quantities of logs and data using analytical tools and converting those data into meaningful reports, dashboards, and alerts using search processing languages; Performing Linux administration, including monitoring performance, debugging issues, and designing and troubleshooting networked applications using: OS concepts, including virtualization, containerization, and memory management; and Developing docker containers for multiple services and deploying, managing, and monitoring them in Kubernetes cluster. The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $212800 - $387600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
