Position SummaryThe Building People, LLC seeks a Site Lead to direct facility support operations for the AFRL Aerospace Systems Directorate (RQ), coordinating Facility Managers across 49 buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with government leadership and Facility Managers to schedule workload, materials procurement, and subcontractor services.
- Perform work order cost analysis and initiate and authorize purchase orders.
- Assign facilities to Facility Managers in line with contract constraints (no single Facility Manager exceeding 275,000 usable square feet; interconnected campuses managed by one Facility Manager).
- Serve as liaison between the COR and Facility Managers, keeping tasks and requests on the specified timeline.
Notice $110-120k/yr Skills & Requirements
Required Qualifications- At least 15 years of experience in DoD Facilities Management, preferably with the Air Force.
- At least 10 years of experience as a supervisor or shop foreman.
- Skilled and efficient in work order cost analysis and purchase order initiation/authorization, with excellent communication skills.
Certifications & Screening- Ability to obtain a favorable NACI or Tier 1 background investigation and CAC.
- Valid, unrestricted state driver's license (position may require operating government-furnished vehicles).
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with RSMeans (CostWorks) or comparable cost-estimating tools.
