Position SummaryThe Building People, LLC seeks a Facility Manager to oversee facility support operations for the AFRL Sensors Directorate (RY), including the Flex Ten Wall modular laboratory system.
Key Responsibilities- Assign and prioritize Back Shop work orders and projects so the team completes critical tasks on schedule.
- Meet regularly with government Facility Managers and RY Facilities Staff to review project status and report schedule-affecting issues.
- Track project funds, place purchase orders, and record all associated expenses.
- Resolve service and scheduling issues, and coordinate workload, materials procurement, and subcontractor services with the COR.
- Maintain full working knowledge of the Flex Ten Wall System used in the RY Building 620 complex.
Notice $105-115k/yr Skills & Requirements
Required Qualifications- At least 10 years of experience in DoD Facilities Management, preferably with the Air Force.
- At least 5 years of experience as a supervisor or shop foreman.
Certifications & Screening- Ability to obtain a favorable NACI or Tier 1 background investigation and CAC.
- Valid, unrestricted state driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with modular laboratory wall systems (e.g., Flex Ten Wall System) or comparable relocatable laboratory infrastructure.
