Position SummaryThe Building People, LLC seeks a Shop Foreman/Site Lead to direct facility maintenance, repair, and skilled-trade operations for the AFRL 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW), including serving as the senior working electrician for the site.
Key Responsibilities- Assign and prioritize Back Shop work orders and projects so the team completes the most critical tasks on time.
- Meet regularly with government Facility Managers and 711 HPW/OMZ Facilities Staff to review project status and report schedule-affecting issues.
- Track project funds, place purchase orders, and record all associated expenses.
- Resolve service and scheduling issues, and coordinate workload, materials procurement, and subcontractor services with the COR.
- Serve as the site's secondary senior electrician, working hands-on while integrating multiple skilled trades toward project completion
Notice $135-145k/yr Skills & Requirements
Required Qualifications- At least 15 years of experience in DoD Facilities Management and skilled trades, preferably with the Air Force.
- At least 10 years of experience as a supervisor or shop foreman.
- At least 15 years of experience performing electrical work at a Master level, including planning, organizing, and executing projects and overseeing subcontracts.
Certifications & Screening- Ability to obtain a favorable NACI or Tier 1 background investigation and CAC.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
- Valid, unrestricted state driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications- Familiarity with WPAFB Pamphlet 32-1001 Facility Manager duties and WPAFB Instruction 32-2001 Fire Prevention Program.
