Site IT Engineer Overview The Site IT Engineer is responsible for a variety of projects across the Network, End User Experience, and Datacenter and Application Platform Service Lines within Michelin. The Engineer is responsible for delivering the project scope on time and within budget in addition to leading the project team and ensuring communication is flowing appropriately to all partners and collaborators. What you'll do This role will manage the network infrasturcute in addtiontion to execution of the projects by identifying project deliverables, coordinating work across multiple teams and IT suppliers, developing budget and cost plans, identifying risks and issues and will successfully monitor project progress using appropriate methods and metrics to ensure schedules, budgets, and goals are met. This role requires knowledge and practice of project management policies, methods, and the ability to understand infrastructure technology to successfully engage with Architects and Subject Matter Experts. Successful candidates should be able to work autonomously and demonstrate solid skills in leadership, communication, organization, conflict management, and independent judgment to select proper courses of action. Key responsibilities 3 Manage the network infrastrtucture for mutilpe sites 3 Manage the project timeline; typically coordinates 1-3 projects at a time across multiple teams and IT suppliers 3 Analyze and schedule the Changes associated with the project implementations, including monthly re-forecast of project budget 3 Coordinate and facilitate all project related meetings (steering committees, project teams, etc.) 3 Ensure a smooth turnover / transition to production (update Service Desk knowledge articles, have appropriate project documentation for BAU, ensure proactive monitoring in place, etc.) 3 Facilitate lessons learned after each project launch What you'll bring 3 Communication: Must work well in coordinating across multiple technologies & platforms / entities / countries / cultures 3 Self-Managing: Must be proactive and work independently, Self-motivated, driven to achieve results on time within budget 3 Process and results oriented: Help drive continuous improvement in the overall project management processes and is adaptable 3 Process management and ability to manage project tasks following the IT processes and respecting lead times for various requests 3 Ability to work in a hybrid work environment and foster team collaboration 3 Ability to communicate effectively, gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, build consensus, and suggest / negotiate solutions and alternatives Requirements 3 BS degree, minimum 5 years of Project Management experience (PM or LEAN certification helpful) 3 Experience working across multiple geographical zones, including management of dispersed teams and large projects 3 Exposure to network equipment, datacenters. Experience in technology infrastructure & IT Technical skills 3 Waterfall methodology with awareness of PMP, Agile, and other Project Management Best Practices 3 Tools: MS Project, Clarity, ServiceNow & Excel familiarity; O365 for teamwork. 3 Detailed knowledge of Project Management principles, concepts, and practices Ready to Shape the Future of Innovation?
