Job Summary:The Sim and Station Payload Instructor (SPI) Team Lead, Level III manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of both teams. The Level III manager will work closely with the Training Level II manager to help meet organizational goals. As part of Training Integration, the Level III manager will receive/maintain a Sim Supervisor qualification, participate in simulations, coordinate corporation between the Sim Team, PD Training and the MTC groups. The Level III manager will write weekly activity reports, prepare presentations for MOSSI and NASA management as well as support meetings.
Detailed Descrption:
The Sim Team, PD Training, MTC Level III manager should be knowledgeable in the following areas:
- Proven working experience in flight control.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in planning and conducting simulation-based training.
- Working knowledge of payload life cycle and operations
- Working knowledge of learning technologies and their application
- Strong leadership and planning skills
The individual must be easily adaptable to changing priorities and tasks, forward thinking, able to envision the big picture, and a strong problem solver. The candidate should be assertive, professional, confident, and possess excellent communication skills. Strong leadership and planning skills are required.
Requirements:
Education Required:
Bachelors Degree or higher in engineering, science, or related field.
Years of Experience Required:
The candidate must possess at least 3 years' work experience in training, coordination, and communications in a science, or engineering-based environment. Previous space operations experience in a flight control discipline is highly desired.
