Position Description:
The SharePoint Technical Lead provides technical and operational leadership for SharePoint Online and Microsoft collaboration platforms, ensuring stable operations, efficient service delivery, and successful implementation of enhancements. The role acts as a key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving platform reliability, continuous improvement, and best-practice solution delivery.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
-Lead technical resources supporting SharePoint Online and related applications across incidents, problems, service requests, and enhancements
-Manage end-to-end delivery including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and service introduction
-Interface with client business users and leadership to manage work prioritization, incident status, and enhancement planning
-Contribute to operations reporting, including incident analysis and identification of recurring issues
-Proactively propose improvements to reduce incidents, enhance platform stability, and improve user experience
-Analyze business requirements and recommend solutions aligned to Microsoft best practices
-Provide technical point-of-view on key architectural and process decisions
-Ensure adherence to client service management processes and governance standards
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
-8+ years of relevant experience with:
- SharePoint Online
- Records Management using Purview
- Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Microsoft Teams and Teams applications
-Proven experience in designing and deploying SharePoint, Power Platform, and Teams solutions
-Strong understanding of business process improvement using Microsoft tools
-University degree or equivalent professional experience
-ITIL certification and experience implementing Service Management practices (asset)
-Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95000-$145,000. This role is a existing vacancy.
