This role provides endpoint project management support for UVA Health System Community Health implementations, with responsibility for planning, coordination, logistics, deployment readiness, and go-live support. Responsibilities include attending project and design meetings, serving as an initial Desktop Services contact for endpoint-related project needs, tracking project status, documenting requirements, and escalating risks or issues to Desktop Services leadership and appropriate HIT teams. The role coordinates endpoint inventory planning and distribution, including hardware, software, licensing, peripherals, vendor quotes, equipment ordering support, delivery tracking, device staging, and site readiness.
It also oversees endpoint configuration readiness by coordinating ServiceNow requests, imaging, printer setup, static IP needs, Epic LWS/EPR requirements, device mapping, testing, and validation activities. During go-live and post-go-live stabilization, the role provides on-site endpoint support, triages and escalates issues, communicates active risks or blockers, and ensures Desktop Services leadership and HIT stakeholders remain informed of implementation progress and support needs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate specialty, or an equivalent combination of accreditation, education and experience required.
Experience: 5+ years relevant experience required.
Licensure: None.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
The pay range for this role is $120,640.00 - $165,439.00 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
