ServiceNow Developer - Risk & ComplianceLocation: Remote Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleAs a
ServiceNow Developer, you will play a critical role in delivering enterprise risk and compliance transformation initiatives through the design, configuration, and development of ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to modernize risk platforms, support migration initiatives, and build scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
You will be a valued member of the ServiceNow delivery team, partnering with client stakeholders, architects, and offshore teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.
In this role, you will:- Configure and develop ServiceNow IRM/GRC capabilities supporting large-scale platform migration and modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate directly with client technical stakeholders to define requirements, elaborate user stories, design workflows, and validate solutions.
- Build proof-of-concepts (POCs) and rapid prototypes to evaluate technical approaches and accelerate decision-making.
- Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer workflows, integrations, reports, and dashboards.
- Support IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, import sets, transform maps, migration validation activities, and technical issue resolution throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimation sessions, code reviews, unit testing, system testing, deployments, and post-production stabilization activities.
- Partner closely with technical leads and globally distributed delivery teams to ensure consistent implementation standards and successful project delivery.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered- 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience.
- Hands-on experience implementing or configuring ServiceNow IRM/GRC solutions.
- Strong JavaScript development and ServiceNow scripting expertise.
- Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, reporting, and dashboard development.
- Experience supporting Agile delivery methodologies, including testing, deployment, and production support.
- Ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and support implementation activities.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, OpenShift, or comparable cloud platforms.
- Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
- Active ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is required.
- Active ServiceNow CIS-IRM (Certified Implementation Specialist - Integrated Risk Management) or ServiceNow Risk & Compliance certification is required.
These Will Help You Stand Out- Experience supporting Archer-to-ServiceNow migration initiatives or other enterprise GRC platform modernization projects.
- Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or similar engineering productivity platforms.
- Financial Services industry experience.
- Experience delivering solutions within highly regulated enterprise environments.
- Experience working within global onsite/offshore delivery models.
Salary and Other Compensation:Applicants will be accepted till 10/15/2026
The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $100,000 - $117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
