This is a highly technical, delivery-focused role for someone who enjoys building, troubleshooting, and continuously improving a mission-critical enterprise platform.

You'll work across our development, staging, and production instances, partner closely with IT and business stakeholders, and help drive our upgrade and enhancement roadmap forward.

  • Support ServiceNow applications like ITSM & HRSD: Help deliver and improve Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and HR-related workflows and automations.
  • Manage access and security: Administer roles, ACLs, permissions, and other platform access controls in line with security and audit requirements.
  • Resolve complex issues: Act as an escalation point for platform-level incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with infrastructure, security, vendors, and other technical teams when issues span multiple systems.
  • Deliver enhancements and projects: Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize the backlog, design solutions, and take work through development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Drive platform consistency: Establish reusable development patterns and standards for workflows, notifications, approvals, documentation, and user experiences.
  • Support upgrades and releases: Evaluate new ServiceNow releases, test upgrades, remediate breaking changes, and adopt relevant new platform capabilities.
  • Document and enable: Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, integration documentation, and user procedures, and provide support or training when needed.

What you need to bring:
  • Hands-on experience developing and administering ServiceNow, ideally across ITSM and/or HRSD.
  • Strong JavaScript skills, including ServiceNow scripting APIs such as GlideRecord and GlideAjax.
  • Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Service Catalog development.
  • Experience designing and troubleshooting REST/SOAP integrations, OAuth, webhooks, and enterprise integrations.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM processes and how they translate into ServiceNow solutions.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues across ServiceNow and connected systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
