Role Overview:This role is for a Data Remediation Analyst/Engineer focused on improving CMDB data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with governance standards. The individual will perform comprehensive data analysis, cleansing, normalization, validation, and remediation activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts for report generation.
- Work with relational databases, with a preference for experience in Postgres.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data privacy and security by implementing proper data segmentation and access controls.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing reports and data pipelines for performance and accuracy.
- Leverage ServiceNow for reporting purposes, including creating and customizing reports as needed.
- Participate in ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Document reporting processes, data models, and workflows for future reference.
Required Skills:- CMDB data quality management

- Ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions to complex data challenges
Qualifications:- 8-10 years of overall experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in report generation and data analysis.
Preferred Skills:- ServiceNow CMDB Experience
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their data services
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, particularly in the context of reporting
