Job Summary

The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for leading the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

This role requires deep techno-functional expertise, strong architectural governance capabilities, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust platform solutions.

The position involves collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to ensure high-quality delivery and alignment with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end architecture for ServiceNow EAM implementations.
  • Provide design guidance across the asset lifecycle including planning, procurement, deployment, maintenance, depreciation, transfer, and retirement.
  • Ensure solution alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and integration standards.
  • Produce architectural documentation including HLDs, LLDs, integration designs, and data models.
  • Lead implementation of asset hierarchies, models, classes, and configuration item (CI) relationships.
  • Design preventive and corrective maintenance frameworks within ServiceNow.
  • Architect inventory, warehouse, and stockroom capabilities.
  • Establish asset tracking mechanisms, audit processes, and compliance controls.
  • Drive mobility, workspace, and user experience strategies for asset operations.
  • Conduct discovery workshops and provide advisory support to business stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between business, operations, and engineering teams.
  • Review and approve technical solutions developed by engineering teams.
  • Define platform standards, coding practices, and release governance.
  • Architect integrations with ERP, procurement, finance, HR, and monitoring systems.
  • Develop data migration, normalization, and reconciliation strategies.
  • Ensure CMDB alignment where assets intersect with configuration items.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall experience, including extensive hands-on architecture experience with ServiceNow EAM.
  • Strong expertise in asset lifecycle management.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling, CMDB dependencies, and service mapping.
  • Experience designing integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
  • Strong knowledge of Flow Designer, automation capabilities, and platform tools.
  • Experience in performance optimization and scalable solution design.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management or Software Asset Management.
  • Exposure to ServiceNow IT Service Management processes.
  • Knowledge of financial management or depreciation models.
  • Experience working in multi-vendor environments.
  • Experience in regulated industries.


Certifications

  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-EAM, or related are preferred.
