Service Line Administrator - Department of Anesthesia

The Service Line Administrator of Anesthesia serves as an influential and strategic leader across the service line, responsible for the long-term vision and execution of patient service integration across the core departments for the assigned service line. This leader is responsible in increasing market share by leading collaborative and strategic partnerships with program leaders, hospital leadership and physicians to optimize patient experience in results, efficiencies and value. Through the director's efforts, the service line will become known as a preeminent level of service in the community and a value-based options seek out when deciding upon their healthcare needs.

Key Relationships

Reports to: Vice Chair - Clinical and Academic Administration, Department of Anesthesia

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
  • Bachelors Degree required in business administration, healthcare administration or related field.
  • Masters Preferred.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience required.
  • Knowledge and experience in designated service line area.
  • Familiarity with current research on appropriate level of care for assigned service level.
