OverviewWe are seeking a results-driven
SEO & AI Search Optimization Manager to lead TP-Link's organic search strategy across its corporate websites and Shopify e-commerce storefronts. This role will be responsible for driving organic traffic, customer acquisition, and direct-to-consumer revenue through a combination of technical SEO, content optimization, e-commerce best practices, and emerging AI Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies.
The ideal candidate brings experience in technical SEO, Shopify optimization, and search analytics, along with a strong understanding of how AI-powered platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews surface and recommend content. Working cross-functionally with web development, content, merchandising, and marketing teams, they will optimize site performance, improve search visibility, enhance product discoverability, and establish TP-Link as a trusted authority across both traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery channels. Success in this role will be measured by growth in organic revenue, search rankings, AI citations, website performance, and overall customer acquisition.
Responsibilities1. Holistic SEO & AEO Strategy
Own and execute the organic search roadmap across TP-Link's core site architecture and Shopify e-commerce storefronts, driving attributable traffic, customer acquisition, and DTC revenue.
Develop and execute an AI Engine Optimization (AEO/GEO) strategy to maximize TP-Link's brand authority, product citations, and recommendations across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.
2. E-Commerce & Shopify Optimization
Optimize Shopify store performance, including collection page taxonomy, product listing pages (PDPs), structured data (Schema markup for hardware specs/pricing), internal linking, and canonical tag structures.
Work with D2C team and Manage Google Merchant Center feed optimization in tandem with SEO to maximize organic product listings and Google Shopping visibility.
3. Technical SEO & Site Health
Maintain technical site health across all domains: monitor crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, site speed, JavaScript rendering, and mobile performance.
Partner closely with IT, Web Development to prioritize technical backlogs and ensure seamless, risk-free migrations, platform updates, and new feature launches.
4. Content & Keyword Discovery
Partner with Creative, Brand, and Content teams to produce, optimize, and structure content specifically formatted for both search crawlers and LLM retrieval systems.
5. Analytics, Measurement & Vendor Management
Define organic KPIs and build reporting dashboards connecting traditional search traffic and LLM citation share directly to revenue and business outcomes.
Evaluate, implement, and manage enterprise SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Botify) and emerging AEO tracking platforms (e.g., Profound).
Requirements3+ years of dedicated SEO experience with a proven track record of growing organic revenue and traffic for e-commerce/DTC brands (Shopify experience strongly preferred).
Demonstrated AEO/LLM Expertise: Tactical experience optimizing content for AI-driven discovery, understanding how LLMs crawl, index, cite, and surface product recommendations.
Deep Technical SEO Capability: Hands-on mastery of schema markup (Product, FAQ, TechArticle), site speed optimization, structured data, crawl budget management, and URL architecture.
E-Commerce Acumen: Strong understanding of consumer electronics/tech hardware buyer journeys, faceted navigation optimization, and product feed management.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to translate complex technical search requirements into clear business priorities for engineering, merchandising, and marketing teams.
