OverviewThe SEO Account Director provides management and leadership to a team of experienced SEO marketers. The Director is responsible for leading enterprise SEO programs while providing strong cross-functional contribution. Finally, the Director is in charge of staffing, revenue projections, and process development.
Responsibilities- Proficient understanding of digital landscape and agency capabilities
- Advanced understanding of client category landscape and competitive factors
- Advanced understanding of holistic approach to search
- Advanced understanding of consumer behavior and targeting/ segmentation analysis tools
- Expert project management skills, time management skills and process development & integration
- Advanced knowledge of all media categories (Planning, SEM, Media, Technology, etc)
- Takes a holistic view of the client's account
- Seen as "expert" by the client
Internal: Operations, Tactics and Strategy- Ensures adherence to internal process and drives best practices across the brands/client
- Set priorities for SEO department and clients and oversee team's progress
- Ultimately responsible for flawless execution of client deliverables
- Draws insight from program results and market conditions and ensures dialogue with client and internal team on informed strategic implications
- Understands how category and competitive conditions impact our clients
- Manages execution of multiple SEO campaigns ensuring strongest possible results for the client while maintaining a healthy margin for the agency
- Demonstrated commitment to Company's recruitment and interviewing efforts
Client Relationship- Owns the client and procurement relationship on assigned brands
- Works closely with the client and procurement to identify areas of improvement in process and efficiencies
- Seen as strategic and integral to the account
- Maintains a strong relationship with clients as day-to-day contact
- Main point of contact for vendor relationships
- Responsible for client renewal/ growth
- Maintains strong relationship with client

Compensation Range: USD $97,375.00 - USD $139,965.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
