Job Summary

The Senior Windchill Developer / Solution Architect designs, develops, and implements enterprise PLM solutions on the PTC Windchill platform. This role requires deep expertise in Windchill customization, configuration, integration, and architecture, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and sustainable solutions in complex business environments. The architect partners with stakeholders to define requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and provide leadership to development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and architect solutions on the PTC Windchill platform
  2. Develop and maintain customizations and configurations across Windchill modules
  3. Customize and administer modules including PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, PartsLink, QMS, SuMa, Options & Variants, and ThingWorx Navigate
  4. Implement integrations between Windchill and enterprise applications such as SAP S/4, AEM, MSD, ThingWorx, and other systems
  5. Develop solutions using Java, J2EE, Windchill APIs, REST Services, XML, JSP, and JavaScript
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
  7. Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers


Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  2. 10-12 years of overall IT experience, including 10+ years of hands-on Windchill development and architecture


Deep expertise in:

  1. Windchill modules (PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, PartsLink, QMS, SuMa, Options & Variants, ThingWorx Navigate)
  2. Customization and administration of Windchill
  3. Programming and APIs (Java, J2EE, REST Services, XML, JSP, JavaScript)
  4. Strong experience integrating Windchill with enterprise applications and services
  5. Proficiency with Oracle and SQL Server databases
  6. Experience developing reports using QML and Jasper
  7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or product-centric industries
  2. Experience with Windchill+ SaaS implementations and migration projects
  3. PTC Windchill certifications


Certifications

  1. PTC Windchill certifications preferred
