Description

The Senior Vice President of Information Technology - Enterprise Applications is a strategic, enterprise-wide leadership role responsible for the selection, implementation, optimization, and governance of core business applications. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this leader shapes the enterprise application roadmap, strengthens business processes, and maximizes the value, security, and scalability of the organization's application portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Portfolio
  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for enterprise applications, including application lifecycle management, scalability, digital transformation, and alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the enterprise application portfolio, including ERP, CRM, BI, integrations, digital platforms, customer-facing tools, and other critical software.

Delivery & Operations
  • Ensure applications are fully supported with clear maintenance plans, upgrade paths, and stability practices that prevent business disruption.
  • Lead secure integration, interoperability, data flow, and process automation across systems while protecting data integrity and privacy.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify process improvements and use applications to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Lead enterprise change management and organizational adoption for major technology initiatives through effective communication, stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption strategies that maximize business value.

Governance, Risk & Responsible AI
  • Establish and enforce application governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to support compliance with industry standards, data privacy regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Partner with data, security, and product leaders to ensure AI-enabled enterprise solutions are transparent, fair, auditable, and aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Leadership, Partnerships & Financial Stewardship
  • Build and guide cross-functional IT teams, including internal staff and trusted partners, while fostering innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Manage software vendor and service provider relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure effective delivery of services and solutions.
  • Develop and manage the enterprise applications budget, monitor expenditures, optimize cost-effectiveness, measure ROI of enterprise technology investments and allocate resources wisely.
