Overview

Overview:

Lead the Holistic Investment team across Linear TV, Streaming Video, CTV, Addressable Video, Digital, Social on a high-profile client.

Responsibilities

Role Objectives:

  • Demonstrate practical expertise in integrated media channel investment by showing how channels work together to drive outcomes
  • Position the agency as a strategic thought leader by consistently sharing industry insights, foundational "101" explainers, and forward-looking commentary that elevates our expertise and shapes market perspectives
  • Quickly and expertly build strong relationships across internal teams (analytics, strategy, creative, delivery, etc.) as well as with clients, fostering trust, collaboration, and seamless integration in day-to-day work
  • Develop the internal team's skills through hands-on mentorship, while identifying and nurturing new organic growth opportunities across accounts and capabilities
  • Seen out first-to-market, alpha/beta test utilizing partner relationships to ensure client is able to effectively break through and remain ahead of the curve
  • Assume the lead role on the core client team to identify issues, develop the internal team's skills, and identify and nurture new organic growth opportunities
  • Act as a true partner with the client team on their media journey; we are an extension of their team, and they of ours
  • Oversee the implementation of digital media, linear video, cinema, and audio, working with the team toward cross-channel efficiencies and best practices
  • Help build and drive platform and channel strategy and optimizations
  • Maintain and lead executive marketplace relationships
  • Responsible for some of the operational aspects of the media practice (Promotions, Merit, Staffing, etc.)
  • Define strategic objectives and strategies to influence consumer behavior and drive business outcomes for our clients
  • Act as the steward of the business from an operational and financial aspect; business planning, revenue, and margin stewardship; scoping, staffing, and financial/commercial models
  • Ensure a solid understanding of data-driven offerings across the marketplace, enabling informed recommendations and effective integration into client strategies

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • Agency experience highly preferred
  • 12+ years of experience working in a national media investment buying environment
  • Experience negotiating TV dayparts and online video
  • Strong negotiating and presenting skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Media Ocean software (DDS, MBOX) preferred

Compensation Range: USD $180,215.00 - USD $299,637.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
