Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead the continued evolution of Everest's private credit portfolio, which includes direct lending, asset-based finance, opportunistic credit, private placements, structured credit, and other alternative credit strategies. As a member of the Investment Leadership Team, this executive will help shape strategic asset allocation, investment policy, risk management frameworks, and long-term capital deployment decisions across the firm's global investment portfolio.

  • Monitor portfolio performance, credit quality, covenant trends, defaults, recoveries, and market conditions.
  • Advise on portfolio guidelines, concentration limits, and monitoring frameworks.

Alternative Investments Leadership
  • Serve as Co-Head of Alternatives alongside the Head of Private Equity and Real Assets.
  • Help determine strategic allocations across private equity, private credit, real assets, secondaries, and opportunistic investments.
  • Assess alternative investment opportunities within the context of enterprise capital, liquidity, and risk objectives.
  • Collaborate on strategic asset allocation studies and portfolio construction initiatives.
  • Contribute to the management of unfunded commitments, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning.

Risk Management, Capital Efficiency & Governance

  • Evaluate investments through the lens of:

    • Liquidity implications
  • Develop portfolio stress testing and scenario analysis frameworks.
  • Identify emerging risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor evolving rating agency and regulatory developments affecting alternative assets.
  • Ensure compliance with investment guidelines, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.

External Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with leading private credit managers, sponsors, consultants, banks, and industry participants.
  • Represent Everest in negotiations with managers and strategic partners.
  • Attend industry conferences and maintain awareness of evolving market opportunities and competitive trends.
  • Establish Everest as a respected institutional investor within the private credit marketplace.

Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing private credit investment team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, intellectual rigor, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive recruiting, retention, and succession planning efforts.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration across Investments, Risk, Finance, and Corporate Development.
