Role: Senior UiPath RPA Automation Engineer / Solution Architect - Microsoft Power Platform
Location: Remote - State of Ohio
Duration: 12 Months

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior UiPath RPA Automation Engineer / Solution Architect with strong expertise in UiPath RPA and Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable automation solutions while partnering closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support end-to-end RPA solutions using the UiPath Platform.
  • Analyze business processes, document workflows, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and automation solutions.
  • Architect and develop advanced, scalable, and reusable RPA components and automation frameworks.
  • Configure and support UiPath Automation Hub, Orchestrator, Studio Web, and Insights.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to support automation and data-processing requirements.
  • Debug complex workflows, perform root-cause analysis, and provide break/fix and production support.
  • Maintain RPA bots, dashboards, integrations, and related automation infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint Online solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Collaborate with business users, process owners, platform owners, and cross-functional technical teams to define scope, risks, timelines, and delivery milestones.
  • Apply Agile methodologies to manage backlogs, prioritize work, and deliver iterative automation improvements.
  • Identify and evaluate new automation opportunities and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and business value.
  • Establish and maintain standards for automation development, documentation, coding practices, value measurement, and governance.
  • Apply Lean and continuous-improvement methodologies to streamline business processes and improve automation outcomes.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple project streams and coordinate delivery across large cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure solutions follow established SDLC, security, architecture, and development standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Extensive hands-on experience designing and developing advanced, scalable RPA solutions using UiPath.
  • Strong expertise with UiPath Automation Hub, Orchestrator, Studio Web, and Insights.
  • Extensive experience developing SharePoint Online solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Strong ability to debug complex UiPath workflows and leverage advanced UiPath features.
  • Strong understanding of software development, programming concepts, design patterns, and coding practices.
  • Experience creating detailed technical designs, solution architectures, and technical specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of IT platforms, enterprise applications, integrations, and system architectures.
  • Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with OCR and intelligent data-extraction processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across business and technical teams.
  • Experience identifying automation opportunities and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Lean, SDLC, automation governance, and continuous-improvement practices.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing RPA solutions using UiPath - Mandatory.
  • 2+ years of experience as an RPA Solution Architect - Mandatory.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining SharePoint Online solutions using Microsoft Power Platform - Mandatory.
  • 8+ years of software application development and implementation experience - Mandatory.
  • 2+ years of experience applying AI technologies, such as OCR/ICR, chatbots, Machine Learning (ML), or Natural Language Processing (NLP) - Preferred.
  • Experience with OCR-based data extraction and intelligent document processing.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise application development and integration techniques.
