The Senior Technical Leader Integration Exploration Ground Systems (EGS):
- Serves as the responsible authority regarding Program requirements and verification, analysis, design, development, activation, and operations of facility and ground systems hardware.
- Chairs the EGS Program Review Board, responsible for maintaining the Program-level technical baseline; evaluating technical, cost, schedule, and risk changes; and providing integrated recommendations and technical solutions to the EGS Program Control Board, the highest Kennedy Space Center (KSC) EGS Board.
- Serves as the primary interface with Orion and Space Launch System Programs for cross-Program technical products.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for the approval of engineering recommendations and technical solutions and provides recommendations to the Engineering directorate for proposed Agency and Center institutional specifications and standard, in conjunction with program governance.
- Serves as the KSC EGS Program's primary technical point of contact, interfacing daily with the EGS Program management and its Technical Authorities.
- Responsible for the EGS Program architecture; its relationship to the NASA Headquarters Human Spaceflight Mission Directorate, Artemis Division, architecture baseline; and the approval or disposition of any technical impacts, changes, deviations, and waivers.
- Serves as a member of the KSC Senior Management Team.

Conditions of employment- The individual selected will be required to file an 'Executive Branch Personnel Financial Disclosure Report' (OGE-278e) within 30 days of appointment and annually from then on.

QualificationsSPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:Candidates must be a recognized subject matter expert with at least 1 year of directly related experience equivalent to the GS-15 level in spaceflight hardware processing; coordinating technical products across multiple NASA programs to ensure architectural alignment; evaluating risk postures and making balanced, risk-informed recommendations and decisions. Must also possess experience in verification, analysis, design, development, activation, and operations of facility and ground systems hardware.
