Senior Talent Acquisition Partner

Kinzler Construction Services of Ankeny, IA is looking to hire a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to serve as a strategic recruiting advisor to leaders across Kinzler Corporation. This role is responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies that attract, engage, and hire top talent for field, professional, technical, operational, sales, and leadership support positions. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders as a trusted recruiting advisor - helping define talent needs, recruiting strategy, candidate profiles, and market approach.
  • Own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing and screening through interviewing, offer development, closing candidates, and onboarding handoff.
  • Directly source professional, technical, management, and leadership talent, including passive candidates who may not be actively looking for a new opportunity.
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networking, referrals, industry groups, market research, talent mapping, and other sourcing tools to identify and engage hard-to-find candidates.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for positions such as Project Managers, Sales Leaders, IT professionals, operational leadership, and other specialized roles.
  • Build proactive pipelines for recurring and high-volume field and skilled-trade positions.
  • Reduce dependence on external recruiting agencies by developing strong internal sourcing capabilities and long-term talent networks.
  • Manage recruiting activity through UKG Ready, our applicant tracking system, ensuring timely candidate movement, communication, documentation, and hiring-manager visibility.
  • Help optimize recruiting workflows, automation, reporting, and candidate experience within UKG Ready.
  • Build relationships with trade schools, technical programs, colleges, workforce development organizations, professional associations, and industry networks.
  • Support employer branding efforts, career fairs, recruiting campaigns, social sourcing, and community engagement.
  • Use recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, cost-per-hire, agency spend, and offer acceptance to identify opportunities and improve results.
  • Support recruiting and workforce integration during company acquisitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Seven (7) or more years of progressive talent acquisition or recruiting experience.
  • Proven success recruiting across multiple job functions and levels, including professional, technical, operational, sales, and skilled-trade positions.
  • Experience sourcing and engaging passive candidates through proactive outreach strategies.
  • Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
