Salary: $90,000 - $100,000
About the RoleAt Founders Pledge, our people are our biggest asset, and we're looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to help us keep growing sustainably. This is a standalone role with real scope: you'll lead hiring across the organisation - Operations, Research, Member Experience, and beyond - often managing up to 15 roles at once across the UK, US, and Germany. The majority of our roles are permanent, but you'll also manage seasonal, and contract hires. You'll report to our People Director and join a team of five spread across the UK and US.
From day one, you'll have real ownership over how we hire: closing out 12+ live roles before the end of the year, and helping build an employer brand that gives candidates a genuine sense of what it's like to work here.
What You'll Do- Own the full hiring lifecycle - From role launch to offer, you'll independently manage a high-volume of concurrent hiring processes, while delivering an excellent candidate experience at every stage.
- Coach and support hiring managers - Act as a trusted partner to hiring managers and interviewers, helping them make confident, well-informed hiring decisions.
- Headhunt and source proactively - Go beyond inbound applications to actively headhunt candidates, building a strong passive talent pool and long-term pipelines for key functions.
- Design tailored assessments and interview processes - Create role-specific assessment materials and interview processes that genuinely evaluate candidates against what success looks like in the role.
- Build and steward our employer brand - Partner with our Comms team to make sure candidates get a real, compelling insight into life at Founders Pledge.
- Build relationships across the effective giving ecosystem - Attend events and join professional groups to build long-term talent pools, and cultivate a network that generates active referrals.
- Drive reporting and continuous improvement - You'll set up and maintain ongoing hiring reporting, using data to build continuous improvement in our processes and candidate experience.
- AI enablement - Continue to embed AI and ATS automation into our hiring process.
- Support wider people initiatives - Occasionally partner with our Head of Organisational Development on projects like onboarding improvements.
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone driven by securing exceptional talent and building teams, not just running a process. You'll bring real hustle to headhunting, a sharp eye for employer branding, and the judgement to design hiring processes tailored to each role - all while maintaining pace without ever sacrificing quality.
You'll have:- In-house recruitment experience - You've built your career hiring in-house in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment, whether as part of a small team or in a standalone role.
- End-to-end recruitment expertise - From advising hiring managers on role requirements through to making and negotiating offers, you've owned the full hiring lifecycle.
- A coaching mindset - You know how to support and guide hiring managers to make good, timely decisions, even under pressure.
- Excellent judgement and EQ - You navigate competing stakeholder demands and candidate needs with composure, extracting signal from ambiguity and delivering customer-service-level professionalism throughout.
- High personal standards - You hold yourself to a high bar and are relentless about candidate experience, responsiveness and results.
- Autonomy and drive - You're comfortable working independently, bringing structure and creativity to how you approach sourcing and hiring.
Nice to haves:- Ecosystem experience (a strong nice-to-have) - Experience hiring into research or advisory roles within the effective giving ecosystem.
- Experience in a mission-driven environment.
If you're excited about our mission but don't meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
Location and Travel RequirementsThis role is based in NYC. You'll spend at least one day a week in the office with the rest of our NY-based team. Given the scope of the role, you'll also work closely with colleagues and hiring managers on the US West coast as well as in the UK and Germany.
You may be asked to travel to industry conferences as well as join a People Team offsite once per year. We also bring our global team together in the UK each spring for our annual global offsite.
Application DeadlineApplications will be accepted until EOD 21st September 2026 and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
