Talent Acquisition Specialist

What you would engage in:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Talent Acquisition Specialist, reporting to our Manager, Talent Acquisition. The successful candidate can work from a combination of home and office, based in Vancouver. This role will provide you with an opportunity to:

What you would engage in:
• Champion our best-in-class candidate experience as we continue to grow.
• Review, shortlist, and screen candidates as well as coordinate required interviews.
• Leverage your sourcing skills and proactively seek and engage with candidates through multiple streams.
• Draft and negotiate offers.
• Foster the partnership between Talent Acquisition, hiring managers and the respective HR business partners .
• Have a pulse on candidates as they move through the pipeline, while providing them with the high-touch candidate experience.
• Leverage your communication skills through LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and other social media channels.
• This role will forge relationships and attend recruiting fairs at educational institutions.

What we require:
• Degree in Marketing or HR is preferred, but other post-secondary degrees and diplomas will be considered.
• 5+ years of full cycle recruitment experience.
• Previous success in direct sourcing of candidates.
• Experience in relationship building roles.
• An interest in social media content creation.
• Highly organized and detailed focused
• An ability to adjust to agendas that continually change.

In addition to the must have requirements you will excel in this role if you have the following:

• You are a people person. It's important that you have a knack for building rapport, quickly.
• You are well organized and enjoy coordinating logistical details.

The salary for this position is $80,000 to $97,000 per year. Salary is based on applicable experience, education, and skill level.
