Location: USA - VIRTUAL - US Texas Division: Solutions Job Posting Title: Senior System Lead, Application & Integration, GCM - 123564 Time Type: Full Time Position Summary Senior System Lead, Application & Integration (GCM) serves as the single point of contact (SPOC) between the Application & Integration (A&I) organization and an assigned Global Customer Management (GCM) enterprise account. • This role is responsible for the end-to-end technical ownership of A&I delivery for the assigned client, from pre-sale solution design through steady-state operations and continuous improvement. • The Senior System Lead consolidates and translates business demand from the GCM account team into structured A&I work packages, provides functional oversight to regional A&I engineers, manages change requests and escalations, and ensures all deliverables adhere to global A&I standards. • The role operates at the intersection of commercial account management and technical delivery, requiring the ability to communicate effectively with both client-facing stakeholders and regional engineering teams across multiple time zones. • This is a deep, single-account technical ownership role requiring strong governance discipline, structured demand management, and the capacity to represent DSV at a senior level with global enterprise clients. Governance, Standards & Quality Assurance • Own the creation, documentation, and maintenance of application and integration standards relevant to the assigned GCM client. • Ensure that A&I deliverables follow global standards, templates, and processes; escalate and manage deviations where required. • Validate alignment with global change processes, standardization initiatives, and cross-regional frameworks. • Promote compliance with established global standards and act as the guardian of technical consistency across regions. SPOC for GCM - A&I • Serve as the single point of contact for all A&I-related topics for the GCM account team globally. • Consolidate A&I demand from all regions supporting the GCM client and ensure clarity, prioritization, and structured response. • Facilitate communication between GCM, Technical Leads, Regional A&I teams, and cross-functional partners. Oversight of A&I Engineering Execution • Provide functional oversight to the A&I engineers assigned to the GCM client, ensuring proper task allocation, technical direction, and workload management. • Review and approve designs, integration specifications, technical decisions, and testing strategies across regions. • Ensure engineering teams operate with a unified methodology and shared understanding of the client's architecture, system landscape, and business needs. • Identify resource gaps and support planning for dedicated A&I capacities per client where needed. Cross-Regional Coordination • Drive alignment on demand, resources, and priorities between all regions involved in A&I delivery for the client. • Ensure that work performed in different regions is harmonized and aligned with the global A&I operating model. • Engage regularly with Regional A&I Leads or counterparts to maintain visibility of dependencies, risks, and timelines. Demand & Portfolio Management • Consolidate and translate business demand from GCM into actionable A&I work packages. • Provide visibility to leadership on volume, complexity, capacity needs, and prioritization. • Ensure timely sign-off of scoping, estimations, and resource plans. Risk, Issue & Escalation Handling • Identify and escalate risks or capacity constraints that may jeopardize delivery timelines or quality. • Facilitate cross-team problem-solving to address architectural challenges or cross-application integration issues. • Ensure transparency when workload exceeds safe capacity thresholds, advocating for reprioritization or additional support where needed. Continuous Improvement & Alignment to Global Strategy • Proactively contribute to global A&I methodologies, templates, and best practices based on lessons learned from the client. • Feed recurring patterns, change needs, or new feature requests into global governance bodies such as the GAB (Global Advisory Board). • Promote simplification, reusability, and standardization across sites and regions. Education & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. • Minimum 7 years of experience in WMS implementation, application & integration management, or supply chain systems delivery. • Minimum 3 years in a client-facing or account management capacity within a logistics, 3PL, or supply chain technology environment. Required Skills & Competencies: • Hands-on experience with WMS platforms (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, Oracle WMS, or equivalent); familiarity with integration technologies including EDI, API, and ERP/TMS connectivity. • Proven ability to manage change requests end-to-end: intake, scoping, prioritization, delivery oversight, and sign-off. • Strong project management and organizational skills; experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms. • Demonstrated ability to operate as an external-facing SPOC for a global enterprise account; experience managing client escalations, QBRs, and stakeholder communications at a senior level. • Cross-regional coordination experience; ability to align teams across multiple time zones and geographies under a unified delivery methodology. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences and represent DSV credibly in client-facing settings. • Knowledge of global A&I standards, governance frameworks, and change management processes; experience with demand intake and portfolio visibility tools preferred.
