Full Job Description
You're looking for a Supply Chain Manager to own our sparing strategy and vendor governance - from mapping the vendor support models already in place to building the processes that keep spares available when we need them most. You'll work closely with data center operations, infrastructure, and our OEM/vendor partners to turn support agreements and consumption data into a proactive sparing program. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building processes from scratch, holding vendors accountable, and keeping complex operational programs on track.
What You'll Do

Early on, you'll get up to speed on Nscale's current vendor landscape - documenting the support models, entitlements, and SLAs already in place across our compute, network, and cooling OEMs to build a single source of truth.

You'll learn how spares move today, where the gaps are, and build working relationships with the data center operations and facilities stakeholders you'll partner with day to day. From there, you'll take on real ownership of our sparing program. You'll define and implement sparing plans - part types, quantities, and stocking locations - sized to fleet criticality, and continuously monitor them against real consumption and failure data.

You'll build the governance framework and cadence (QBRs, SLA scorecards) that holds vendors accountable to their committed spares and service SLAs, and you'll be the primary point of contact when vendors need to be held to those commitments. Over time, you'll become the go-to owner for spares visibility across the business. You'll partner with internal and external teams to provide visibility on all things spares - spares availability, consumption rate, fill rate - rather than one-off answers, and you'll define the KPIs that tell us whether the program is working. You'll keep refining the processes between Nscale and our vendors on all things spares, and take on a growing share of strategic sparing and vendor strategy as our hardware footprint expands
Who You Are
  • You are a strong communicator and have a bias for action, with clear understanding of trade-offs
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, including vendor management
  • Prior experience managing supply chain workflows for datacenter or AI hyperscalers.
  • Experience supporting business operations and being close to operational realities
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working with team members across the globe, getting hands-on with data, dealing with ambiguity
  • You hold vendors accountable
  • Exposure to datacenter environments, specifically hyperscale operations tied to spares and operations, is an added plus
