Full Job Description
The Role

We have an opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join our Structural Practice. Candidates for the Structural Engineer position should have experience in small to mid-size projects such as cultural buildings, office buildings, health care, research facility design, and tenant renovation work preferably in a consulting engineering firm environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordination of design work with in-house staff as well as other design professionals including Architects and other Engineering disciplines.
  • Communicate with clients to understand project requirements.
  • Plan and formulate engineering program and organize project staff according to project requirements.
  • Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of buildings and materials using various building codes.
  • Manage project design and deliverables.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture. Master's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of current industry software, including SAP2000, ETABS, Ram, Risa3-D, StructurePoint, Revit, and AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally.


Compensation
The rate for this position generally is $87,000 - $100,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the California Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful California applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in California or perform the position from California. Similar positions located outside of California will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by California Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
