Qualifications

• BSEE or MSEE preferred, with equivalent practical experience in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in power protection and/or SMPS design, especially with SiC/GaN devices.
• Strong hands-on lab skills using oscilloscopes and power analyzers, with capabilities in soldering and high-voltage practices.
• Proven ability to debug mixed-signal/power circuits focusing on diverse issues including gate drive and thermal stability.
• Excellent customer-facing problem-solving and communication skills, capable of translating technical issues into actionable recommendations.
• Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans and familiarity with circuit simulation tools like SPICE.

Responsibilities

• Build, bring up, and debug SSPD evaluation boards and reference designs.
• Diagnose and resolve customer system issues through root cause analysis and recommending design improvements.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans while characterizing performance across varying conditions.
• Create and maintain various application collateral, including schematics, BOMs, and user guides.
• Collaborate closely with design engineers to refine product requirements and validation coverage based on real data.
• Support customer prototypes during design cycles with hands-on lab assistance and structured integration guidance.
• Promote and demonstrate SSPD products to customers while clearly communicating project status and findings to stakeholders.
