Qualifications

• Ph.D. in computational biology, computer science, statistics, genomics, or related field
• 6+ years of professional experience in bioinformatics or closely related roles
• Ability to distinguish biological signal from technical noise using various statistical, machine learning and deep learning methodologies
• Proficiency in programming languages for scalable production multi-omic analyses
• Experience developing reproducible workflows in cloud or HPC environments
• Experience optimizing compute costs at scale (preferred)
• Experience developing commercial products (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Analyze large-scale multi-omic data to identify technical artifacts versus biological signals.
• Design and implement innovative computational methods for improved signal detection.
• Develop and maintain robust analysis pipelines for data processing.
• Build and optimize reproducible workflows in cloud and HPC environments.
• Identify and mitigate technical artifacts through thorough analysis.
• Collaborate with wet-lab scientists to troubleshoot assay artifacts.
• Communicate analytical findings effectively and support technical decision-making.
