Role description

Responsible for managing and evolving Scaled Agile portfolios of the highest complexity

Facilitates the scrum process on scrum teams with significant cross functional impacts involving project non project or maintenance work

Guides the scrum teams and organization to follow generally accepted Agile Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization team readiness and commitment for each Sprint Iteration

Manage and optimize the flow of value by steering the Agile Release Trains ART to success and navigating the complexity of delivering software consistently in large environments

The Scrum Master focus is to deliver value by managing program level processes execution and continuous improvement

Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments PIs Facilitate PI Planning readiness Facilitate the PI planning event

Partners with Product Owners to ensure continuous refinement of backlog which may include stories from multiple projects

Completion of some work may depend on nonagile work teams Scrum of Scrums

Help manage risks and dependencies Escalate and track impediments

Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks

Encourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects Engineering

Work with Product and Solution Management Product Owners and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment

Facilitate System Demos and Solution Demos

Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops assess the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and help them improve
