Responsibilities

  • Manage order processes including EDI transmissions, allocations, and customer inquiries.
  • Coordinate with customers and sales managers to address inquiries related to deliveries, claims, and returns.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure on-time deliveries and meet sales targets.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of purchase orders to prevent claims and charge-backs.
  • Set up new accounts while coordinating special handling and conditions with relevant interfaces.
  • Proactively communicate risks in timelines or services and suggest corrective actions.
  • Support sales teams with customer service insights and manage specialized projects.

Full Job Description
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
  • Interact with customers and key interfaces to support the business to achieve sales and strategy objectives.
  • Ensure professional, needs-based and sales-oriented service to support business objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage orders, EDI transmissions, allocation, order confirmations, cancelations, invoices, debit & credit notes, deliveries and coordinate with key interfaces and external providers
  • Manage customer inquiries promptly in set timeframes and in alliance with adidas regulations and policies
  • Act as key interface for customers and sales managers in area of responsibility for all inquiries (deliveries, claims, timelines, exchanges and returns)
  • Collaborate with Senior Account Manager and global Logistic team to review orderbook to identify risk to achieving on time deliveries, sales target and/or strategic objectives (e.g. delivery blocks, express shipments, inbounds ETA)
  • Ensure accuracy of all variations of purchase orders by reviewing data & Routing guides to avoid costly claims and charge-backs
  • Coordinate with key interfaces the set-up of new accounts (special handling, special conditions)
  • Communicate if timelines or services are at risk and promote action steps in alliance with the account service senior manager
  • Ensure a good workflow between all interfaces
  • Analyze with Credit Management Specialist and Sales the payment status and coordinate required actions
  • Support Sales Managers with knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Manage given projects within a discussed frame

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
  • Commercial education in the administration field or a bachelor's degree in marketing/supply chain/logistics
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Wholesale Account Service/logistics (Sport or fashion industry)
  • Strong team player with proven ability to work cross functional

  • The anticipated low and high end of the base pay range for this position is $76,010 - $88,450. Actual salary will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and competencies, proficiency for the role.
  • At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday. The working location of this position is New York, New York.
