Senior Specialist, Client Processing

We9re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Client Processing to join our team. This role is located in Los Angeles, CA.

In this role, you9ll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Reviews and processes day-to-day money movement and client asset movement transactions involving cash and/or securities across various account types, including Fed funds wires, check disbursements, ACH transactions, journal entries, ACATs and other related activities, to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Verifies payment, disbursement, and asset movement instructions for completeness, accuracy, proper authorization, and alignment with client requirements, internal procedures, risk controls, and compliance standards.
  • Applies risk management and control principles by identifying discrepancies, monitoring for potential fraud or unauthorized activity, escalating issues as appropriate, and helping prevent processing errors.
  • Monitors transaction workflows, suspense accounts, and departmental reports, and resolves exceptions to support smooth operational execution and high-quality client service.
  • Researches and resolves moderate to complex issues and inquiries, including ACAT and non-ACAT items, payment processing matters, disbursements, and other transaction-related exceptions.
  • Conducts status calls and provides updates for incoming accounts being funded manually to ensure visibility, coordination, and timely follow-through.
  • Partners with business partners, organizational units, and support teams to address issues appropriately, provide guidance, and ensure service delivery and problem resolution occur within expected timeframes.
  • Provides complex analytics and reporting to support operational oversight, process improvement, and the automation of client processing systems.
  • Participates in product development, product enhancements, and system testing to help ensure high-value transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with business requirements.
  • Solves complex operational problems using in-depth knowledge of system workflows, transaction processing requirements, downstream impacts, and industry standards.
  • Integrates strong functional expertise and industry best practices to deliver effective solutions and support to internal and external clients.
  • Works independently as an individual contributor within a collaborative team environment while consistently meeting deadlines and service level expectations.
  • Provides guidance, support, and training to lower-level client processing roles and may allocate, review, and approve the work of other team members to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives through strong operational execution, client focus, risk awareness, and continuous process improvement.

To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following:
  • Bachelor9s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience is preferred.
  • Experience in brokerage processing is preferred.
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
