Full Job Description
Responsible for providing program management, administrative, and coordination support to the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) CEO and senior leadership team. Manage organizational initiatives, coordinate member-led group activities, support executive priorities, and ensure projects move forward efficiently across departments. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with senior leadership, serve as a central point of coordination for executive initiatives, cross-functional projects, and member engagement efforts.Essential Functions
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO, including calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting, meeting preparation, and follow-up. Serve as a primary point of contact for scheduling and administrative support for the CEO and senior leadership team.
  • Coordinate executive meetings, prepare agendas and materials, and track action items.
  • Manage special cross-functional projects and executive initiatives that support organizational priorities. Develop project timelines, monitor deliverables, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Track project milestones, risks, and action items to ensure timely completion.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and project execution.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation for leadership.
  • Coordinate activities for AONL's member-led groups, including meeting logistics, agendas, minutes, and follow-up. Monitor progress toward member-led group goals and assist with reporting and documentation.
  • Partner with volunteer leaders and staff liaisons to support annual work plans and project implementation. Serve as a liaison between volunteer leaders and internal staff to facilitate communication and project coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Education
  • Bachelor's Degree Business administration, healthcare administration or related field Required or

  • Strong cross-functional coordination, meeting & event facilitation, organizational planning and process improvement skills - Required

Salary Information:

Commensurate with related experience. The AHA is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.

Salary Range - Minimum:
92000

Salary Range - Midpoint:
115000

Salary Range - Maximum:
138000
