The RoleWe are seeking a customer-focused Solutions Engineer to support our Casualty Products organization, with a dedicated focus on First Party Casualty. In this highly visible, client-facing pre-sales role, you will lead carrier process reviews, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and translate complex claims workflows into clear solution strategies that drive adoption, value, and revenue growth across our first party casualty portfolio.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on first party casualty claims experience from inside a carrier casualty operation and can credibly engage stakeholders from frontline adjusters to senior leaders. You will use your operational expertise to uncover client pain points, shape compelling recommendations, and show carriers a smarter way to improve first party casualty performance. You will be the person in the room who has lived the workflows our clients are trying to improve and can show them a better way.

Key Responsibilities:

First Party Casualty Expertise & Process Consulting

  • Serve as a client-facing expert on first party casualty claims operations, bringing deep knowledge of carrier workflows, organizational structures, and performance drivers to every client engagement.
  • Lead highly complex carrier process reviews by conducting prospective client interviews to map current-state workflows, interpret operational pain points, and translate findings into actionable recommendations and solution designs.
  • Engage stakeholders across multiple levels (frontline adjusters through senior executives), adapting communication style to effectively influence both operational and strategic audiences.
  • Articulate industry best practices in first party casualty and benchmark client operations against them, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Work directly with prospective clients to document configuration requirements, integration needs, and technical constraints.

Pre-Sales Excellence

  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs that connect first party solution capabilities directly to client pain points.
  • Guide technical discovery across the sales cycle, equipping sellers with operational insight to advance opportunities.
  • Build and deliver executive-ready PowerPoint presentations that clearly articulate client problems, solution value, ROI, and structured visual narratives to support scalable pre-sales efforts.
  • Create clear technical narratives and reusable enablement materials that translate product capabilities into client-relevant solutions and equip sellers to deliver consistent first party messaging.
  • Anticipate client objections and equip sellers and executives with credible, well-supported responses grounded in product knowledge and industry expertise.
  • Contribute to scalable tools, templates, and processes to improve pre-sales efficiency.
  • Maintain fluency in product capabilities, roadmap, and industry trends to inform client conversations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with product management, aligning on client needs and market direction.
  • Serve as a connection point between clients and product by sharing feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment on messaging and client needs.
  • Support the transition from sales to implementation by facilitating knowledge transfer and ensuring clear expectations.

Requirements:
  • Hands-on carrier-side experience in first party casualty claims operations, with a strong understanding of claims workflows, operational challenges, and performance drivers.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, solution consulting, technical pre-sales, claims operations, strategy, or process improvement.
  • Proven ability to lead process reviews or operational assessments, synthesize complex inputs, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for clients. Utilizing software such as Visio or Miro to document.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to engage senior business stakeholders, frontline users, and technical audiences with credibility and clarity.
  • Advanced presentation and storytelling skills, including the ability to build executive-ready PowerPoint decks that connect client pain points, solution value, ROI, and business impact.
  • Apply structured analysis skills to review workflows, organize information, identify trends, and develop practical, client-focused recommendations, using Excel as needed for basic analysis.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, or Implementation teams to support client needs and solution alignment.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
